Mentoring

Madeleine offers mentoring to students and recent graduates of social work, youth work and teaching courses, and those studying in related fields. Mentoring sessions can support with:

  • Setting boundaries with clients

  • Building rapport with clients

  • Self-care and avoiding burnout 

  • What to expect in the workplace

  • Content-based upskilling and support

  • Building confidence in the workplace

  • Workplace-related anxiety 

  • Building effective working relationships with employers and colleagues

Mentees are welcome to book regular sessions with Madeleine, or to come on an ad-hoc basis as issues or concerns arise.

How much is a mentoring session?

A mentoring session costs $80 for students, and $100 for those working in the field.

How long does a session go for?

A typical session goes for 50-55 minutes

Where are sessions held?

Many of Madeleine's mentoring clients prefer to have their sessions on the phone whilst out walking. Mentees find that it is a great way to build exercise and self-care into their day. However, sessions can also be held in person or online via zoom.
